90 Miles on 90 Sale

I know it’s been awhile since I updated this blog, well a year and half. Blogging for me doesn’t come easy like it did when I had my old blog “Garden Antqs Vintage”, but then again I wasn’t on Instagram or much on Facebook so it’s a real effort for me to sit still long enough to write a post. And who knows this may be the only Blog post I make this year even though I say I’ll try harder.

Anyways back to our regular scheduled program.

90 on 90 Sale

We hit the junkin trail for the 90 miles on 90 sale early yesterday morning and were gone well over 12 hours. While I’m pleased with what I found I wouldn’t say there were any bargains to be found like the first year we went, June 2017.

I noticed there seemed to be fewer vendors set up, but then again we hadn’t been in a few years so I’m sure things have changed. There were also a few places that I had sticker shock at. I mean $1000 for a wood cabinet is a bit much.

I know things are more expensive, we as dealers are having to pay more and drive further. And while I went hoping to find a few things, I didn’t find one item on my list.

Who knows maybe I’ll come across another Country Estate Sale and find great things like these that I found during April 2022:

But then again as hard as it’s getting for me to find old painted pieces I have a feeling I might just have to shop my own things. Wishing you a great weekend.
